My sister (1). met/ was meeting her boyfriend when she (2.) worked / was working at the cinema. She (3.) served / was serving popcorn when he (4.) walked / was walking up to the counter. He (5.) smiled / was smiling at her and (6.) ordered / was ordering a soft drink. She (7.) served / was serving the soft drink, but while she (8.) turned around / was turning around, she tripped and (9.) spilled / was spilling it all over him! Luckily he thought her nervousness was fun and they went out on a date the next week, to another cinema! This time they ordered only popcorn!
