3 laps plus 6 miles equals 5 laps plus 2 miles. Subtract miles over. 3 laps plus 4 miles equals 5 laps. Subtract laps over. 4 miles equals 2 laps. Simplify. 2 miles=1 lap. Plug it in to one of the equations. 5 laps plus 2 miles=Your answer. 2 miles =1 lap. 5 laps plus 1 lap =6 laps. Your answer is 6 LAPS.
