“My day starts at 6:30 a.m. I get up and go running before
breakfast. I only have a small breakfast. I can’t eat much
in the morning just a piece of toast with a cup of coffee.
At half past seven I catch a bus and get to work at eight
thirty.
I’m a journalist in a local newspaper. I work five days a
week, Monday to Friday.
When I arrive at the newspaper, I look at the timetable. We
read the emails, and sometimes check our web page. I go into
the office and prepare the equipment and the reports. I
order them and make sure there are no problems. When my
colleagues arrive, I give them some instructions and check
them. Then we start to write the news. I’m busy all day,
but I usually have a break for a sandwich in the cafeteria
at one o’clock and I leave the newspaper at five. My job is
quite difficult, but I like it. I play the saxophone in a
band after work.”
