IRREGULAR ADJECTIVES
Algunos adjetivos en inglés son irregulares (good, bad, far, old, much, many, little) y que rompen las reglas de los comparativos y los superlativos. En esta lección tendrás una explicación clara y fácil sobre este tema.
Significado y ejemplos:
o Good: bueno
Better: mejor (comparativo)
Trains are better than cars / Los trenes son mejores que los autos
The best: el mejor (superlativo)
Breaking bad is the best TV program / Breaking Bad es el mejor programa de tele
o Bad: malo
Worse: peor (comparativo)
Alcohol is worse than drugs / El alcohol es peor que las drogas
The worst: el peor (superlativo)
He is the worst actor / Él es el peor actor

o Far: lejos
Further: más lejos (comparativo)
Your house is further than mine / Tu casa está más lejos que la mía
The furthest: el más lejano (superlativo)
This is the furthest area of the city / Está es el área más lejana de la ciudad

o Old: viejo
Elder: más viejo o mayor (comparativo)
Andrew’s elder brother is a police officer / El hermano mayor de Andrew es oficial de policía
The eldest: el más viejo o el mayor (superlativo)

o Much: mucho o mucha
