I remember when my love story became one of horror.
It was a normal day, nothing really interesting. A day like so many others.
My family has an antique shop, quite popular in the town where I live.
I could not complain about the life I had, because I never really lacked anything.
I can say I was totally happy.
To help my father in business, I used to go from house to house, selling our products, as a street vendor. That time was no different.
People already knew me around, and little by little I had less success with sales. Until I thought about the house on the outskirts of town.
As a child, my parents told me overwhelming legends about that place, warning me every time I didn't get close.
Poor me and my adventurous soul, I ignored that day all those words.
It was too late to repent. I was already in front of the house.
This gave off a magical aura, I could not explain why. And before I realized my actions, I was already ringing the bell.
Once, twice, three, four ... nobody answered.
I thought maybe it would be abandoned. It sounded logical after all, because no one was ever seen leaving or entering that building.
Instead of acting like a normal person would, and leaving, I opened the door, surprised, since I thought it would be locked.
I went into the house, listening to the old floor creak under my feet. The afternoon sun illuminated the room through the broken windows and thrown on the floor, letting me see a room similar to a fantasy book scenario.
I was amazed for a few seconds. In spite of the fact that the place was in a terrible state, it kept an air of beauty and greatness.
Suddenly, I heard a voice, which rang from the top of the stairs. I looked up, frightened, until I saw a young man with blond hair like the sun that crept through the crystals, pale face and smooth skin, with blue eyes, intense as the sea and icy as the same ice.
"Who are you?" He asked me in a melodious voice.
That was the moment when my life changed. If for better or for worse, that is already a matter of view.
