In what order does the plot of a fictional story typically progress?

All stories in general are complemented in 3 parts:

The beginning, wich gives an introduction to the story itself (as for the main characters and what is the story about)

The development, where the most gets to the best of itself (shocking or parts with a lot of emotion), or simply where some problem or something similar is resolved.

And the ending, where... is just ending.
