If you flip three fair coins, what is the probability that you'll get a head on the first flip, a tail on the second flip, and another head on the third flip? Include a diagram of all the possibilities.

Assuming that each coin has a head and a tail, the odds on any flip of getting either would be 1 in 2. So, with 3 coins, the odds would be (1 in 2) times (1 in 2) times (1 in 2), which of course is 1 in 8, or 0.125.

But no matter which you pick for each of the 3 flips, heads or tails, the odds are going to be exactly the same.
