Respuesta:

No modern revolution has been more deeply rooted in taxes than the revolt of the Thirteen Colonies in British North America. British taxes not only caused the revolution, but it may be more important that it acted as a unifying force in the colonies. The once disorganized and bellicose colonies united around the cause of taxes without consent, took up arms against the British and eventually formed the United States of America.
