following examples: Luis had breakfast at 8:00. This means that he started to have breakfast at 8:00. Luis was having breakfast at 8:00. This means that he started to have breakfast before 8:00 and he
probably continued having breakfast until past 8:00.
We can also combine them to describe an action happening in the past that was suddenly
