Las oraciones afirmativas de pasado simple se construyen de la siguiente forma:

Sujeto + Verbo en pasado + Complemento.

Oraciones Negativas:

Sujeto + Did + not + Verbo en presente + Complemento.

Oraciones yes - no questions.

Did + Sujeto + Verbo en presente + Complemento?

Interrogativas con Wh

Wh + Did + Sujeto + Verbo en presente + Complemento?

Tomar en cuenta que el Verbo se coloca en Pasado solamente en las Oraciones Afirmativas del Pasado Simple.

En oraciones Negativas - Interrogativas el verbo se coloca en presente porque está complementado con el Auxiliar que indica que la oración está en pasado.
