Uso de los perfect modal verbs
Se utilizan cuando hablamos de especulaciones, posibilidades o arrepentimientos sobre situaciones del pasado. Para formar el modal perfecto, se debe utilizar un verbo modal (may, might, can, can´t, could, couldn’t, would, should, shouldn’t, needn’t) seguido por “have” más el participio pasado del verbo principal. Las oraciones con modales perfectos deben seguir la siguiente estructura:
