Respuesta:
Antiaircraft defense is one of the methods for shooting down military aircraft in combat, from the ground or water (or simply "surface" to encompass both). Various guns and cannons have been used for this since the first military aircraft were used in WWI, growing in power and safety over the years. After World War II, the era of guided projectiles began, specifically "surface-to-air missiles", and it has been used in combination in many ways.
There were adaptations of standard artillery systems that were used as anti-aircraft, with standard parts on chassis, and improving the effectiveness of anti-aircraft weapons before World War II.
The projectile warheads are used with different types of fuzes: explosives (barometric, time-delayed), or proximity, to generate metal fragments in the target area. A classic example of a large caliber anti-aircraft gun is the German 88mm gun.
Long-range weapons of this type are largely outmatched by the more effective surface-to-air missile systems that were introduced in the 1950s; however, due to their relatively low manufacturing cost compared to more modern systems, they are still used in large quantities in some countries.
For short-range uses, a lighter weapon with a higher rate of fire is required, to ensure hitting a fast target. The 20mm, 37mm and 40mm autocannons are most commonly used for this purpose. Unlike heavier weapons, these light weapons are widely used today for the same reasons they were introduced: the ability to quickly track the target.
Modern systems often use automatic cannons, which were originally intended for air-to-ground use. However, the latest advances in short-range missiles are being presented as viable to replace them in this use.
