Stratford-upon-Avon is a town close to Birmingham in England. About 25,000 people live here. The city is more than 800 years old. It's famous because William Shakespeare was born here. He wrote a lot of plays, inclunding Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth. You can still see his plays today in the Royal Shakespeare Theater.
There are a lot of other interesting places to go. Children can go to the museum, the library, the sports center, the movie theater, and the park. The town also has a bus and train station. I like Stratford-upon-Avon because the river is beautiful. The only thing I don't like is that it takes a long time to travel the beach.
