I woke up this morning, and realized about something kind of weird; my cat wasn't resting on my legs.

I went downstairs, entered to the kitchen and asked my mother "hey, mom, where is Paddy?".

She didn't really seem to care, and five minutes later, she finally answered "who is Paddy?".

Apparently, she didn't even know what was my cat name. I'm still trying to figure out how she didn't forgot about my existence when I was a baby.

"Mom, Paddy's my cat", I said with just a bit of anger in my voice.

"Since when do you have a cat!?", she replied with anger.

So, yeah, my mother forgot again about my cat's existence. She's so busy with her work as an office clerk, that she always forgets about everyting.

When I closed my eyes and tried to think where Paddy was, I felt something warm on my hand.

I opened my eyes, looked down and guess what... It was Paddy!.

"Paddy! I thought you scaped!", I yelled with an excited voice.

"What's a Paddy, by the way?", asked mommy.

"Nevermind", I replied.

Finally, my mother left for work, and I started thinking about what should I cook for breakfast.
