Heroes of the Fifties
James Dean was a film actor in the 1950s. He was born on
8 February 1931, in Indiana, USA, an only child. He was
very good-looking and lots of girls were in love with him.
He was famous as a young rebel and he had a lot of fans. He
was only in three films: East of Eden, Rebel Without a
Cause and Giant. He also liked dancing, writing poetry and
car racing
On 30th September 1955, he had a terrible accident in his
Porsche and died instantly. When they heard the news a lot
of young girls had attacks of hysteria. Today he is still
famous.
