Respuesta:

1. Heat energy is the result of the movement of tiny particles called atoms, molecules or ions in solids, liquids and gases.

2. Heat is transferred by three different methods: conduction, convection, and radiation.

Conduction: Conduction is the transfer of heat between substances that are in direct contact with each other.

Convection: Convection occurs when warmer areas of a liquid or gas rise to cooler areas in the liquid or gas.

Radiation:  It entails the emission of a spectrum of electromagnetic radiation due to an object's temperature.

3. Conduction: When ironing a skirt, the iron is hot and the heat is transferred to the skirt.

Convection:  The steam you see when drinking a cup of hot tea indicates that heat is being transferred into the air.

Radiation: The light emitted by an incandescent lamp.

4. A stationary electric charge, typically produced by friction, which causes sparks or crackling or the attraction of dust or hair.

5. Static discharge occurs when two charged surfaces pass over each other and a sudden recombination of the separated positive and negative charges creates an electric arc.

6. Lightning.
