A SNAKE SCIENTIST

Dr Zoltan Takacs has always been extremely
passionate about snakes. When he was a child,
he used to capture snakes and keep them as pets.
Therefore, it wasn't surprising that Takacs chose a
career involving snakes.
At university, Takacs studied snakes and
pharmacology. Since then, he has worked for years
developing medicines from snake venom. Takacs
doesn't have to buy snakes for his experiments
since he catches them himself. Catching snakes is
dangerous work. In fact, snakes have bitten Takacs
six times over the years. In his search for snakes,
Takacs has been to more than 100 countries. Once,
he got caught in a war zone in Laos. As a result, a
helicopter was sent to rescue him. However, Takacs
isn't going to stop his work in the near future.
Snake venom is already used in several medications.
Takacs hopes that soon, doctors will be using venom to cure many more health problems.
I admire Takacs because he is courageous and
inspiring. As a result of his studies, many people
will have a chance to overcome serious diseases and
live healthier lives. Thanks to Takacs, the world will
be a better place.

Name of the person: David Robert Jones. Known professionally as David Bowie.

David Bowie was a British musician and composer of rock music. He was also an actor and record producer. Born in Brixton England on January 8, 1947 and died in Manhattan New York on January 10, 2016.

David Bowie was a very important figure for almost five decades, particularly in the 1970s. From a very young age, he showed a great interest in music and art. His professional career began in the year of 1963 but achieved notoriety until 1969, when his song "Space Oddity" reached a great popularity in the British list of the best songs of the moment.

In 1975 he achieved his first success in the United States thanks to his song "Fame", co-written with John Lennon. He also collaborated with Queen and had another great success with his album “Let’s Dance”. The most recent album called "Blackstar" was released two days before his death.  His record sales, estimated at approximately 136 million records throughout his career. He has received nine platinum records, eleven gold and eight silver in the United Kingdom and five platinum and seven gold in the United States.

My personal opinion about David Bowie is that he was a very talented and recognized artist who greatly influenced people's culture and people's lives. He is one of the most important artist of all time who had continuous reinventions, musical innovations and visual presentations of all kinds.
