Humans indisputably cause climate change.

The contamination of the air with greenhouse gasses started around the 17th century with the industrial revolution and the introduction of vapor and combustion machines.

The fact that so many greenhouse gasses such as methane, water vapor, and carbon dioxide are emitted traps the heat radiated by the sun and consequently augments the earth's temperature.

Possible effects of climate change are:

  • Melting of ice caps.
  • Rising sea levels.
  • More frequent and intense droughts, storms, and hurricanes/typhoons.
  • Many areas becoming unviable for habitation.
