Homemade water rocket Materials:
* 2 liter water bottle
* Wine bottle cork or similar
* Scotch tape
* Wood (size does not matter)
* Screw for wood about two inches (5 cm) long
* Vinegar
* Baking powder or baking soda
* Paper napkin
Process: First let's make the base of our homemade water rocket, for which, we must take the wood and place the screw as shown in the video. Now take the cork and you have to screw it into the part of the screw that comes out of the wood. Once this is done, you have to test if the cork comes under pressure at the peak of the bottle. If not, you have to put adhesive tape on the cork until the cork comes under a lot of pressure at the peak. What follows is to prepare the mixture that will make the homemade water rocket take off. For that you have to mix a half glasses of water with a glass and a half of vinegar. Place the mixture inside the bottle. Now you must take a paper napkin and place on it about 4 or 5 tablespoons of baking powder, do not place all just but spread them as shown in the video. Fold the napkin so that it is a long cylinder, that enters the peak of the bottle and that the powder does not fall from it. The video shows one of the possible ways to double it. It was time for the launch of the homemade water rocket. You have to choose an outdoor place. Place the cilindo with baking powder inside the bottle, but do not let go, you should not touch the liquid yet. Now take the base, and while you let the napkin fall with the powder, you introduce the cork under pressure. Turn the rocket, and start running as at any moment it will fly at an incredible speed, and if you are close it will splash everything.
