Experiencia en inglés que te haya pasado (verbos y todo en pasado). Corta de unas 10 lineas

When I was 10 I owned a dog. Its name was Cookie and it was a cute beagle puppy. Cookie loved eating food for humans and, as we did have enough resources to do so, we fed him with said food. It ate our leftovers almost everyday. Sadly we weren't informed enough about dogs. We didn't know there are some foods they can't eat like broccoli, nuts, citrics... and chocolate. 
In my sister's 7th birthday my aunt brought a great chocolate cake. The party was awesome and we all had loads of fun. The next day there was some cake left in the fridge so we gave Cookie the rest. Cookie got ill and died some time later. It really hurt me. That's why I don't like celebrating my birthday.
