It is evident that technology has changed our life and that it also permeates each and every one of the aspects that comprise it. We are born and die in hospitals. Home and education, on the one hand; home and job, on the other. We constantly have to acquire new knowledge and skills to keep up with the pace imposed by technological development. The media - the press, radio and television - bombard us with more information than we can use. Even the simplest processes of the daily routine, such as shopping, cooking, washing, etc., are altered as a result of this development, however, what at first seems a spectacular change may not be any change when analyzed in a little more detail. If we compare our relationship with that world of technological advances, we will see that there is nothing new or unheard of in it. Or, to be more precise, that this penetration into our lives does not necessarily imply a change in our consciousness regarding the world around us. The fact of having electric cookers is something that we take for granted today, as in the past, cooking over a bonfire; When we sit in front of the television, we do so with the same naturalness with which our ancestors sat around their elders to listen to their stories. The damage caused by a general blackout in a modern city is comparable to that caused by a hurricane in primitive cities. It is not the existence of technology that induces us to reflect on it, analyze it or try to influence it
