Back when I was around eight years old my father took my sister and I to a museum. I remember being really hungry so I asked him if we could go and get some ice cream. Of course, he didn't take us for ice cream; instead, he bought us a burger. I was complaining a lot about it, but eventually i calmed down. When we were in the restaurant I saw through the window a little dog sitting outside. I remember I saved a piece of my burger in a napkin and when we got out of the restaurant i fed the dog. It then proceeded to follow us all they way to where we parked our car. By then, my sister was already in love with that little dog, and she started crying and begging my dad to let us keep it. Eventually he gave in and let him stay. Ever since we have been incredibly happy with Pulgas (that's his name).

*Past simple solo es el verbo en pasado, por ejemplo: I laughed, I tripped, he gave, etc.

*Past continuous es el verbo to be en pasado + otro verbo con -ing, por ejemplo: I was laughing, you were smiling, I was complaining, etc.
