A Day in Denis´Life

I had a terrible day yesterday. First, I woke up late and was late for work. It was my third time this week. I arrived to my office, I turned on my computer but then, I found a sticky note on the monitor that said there was a meeting taking place since very early which made things worse for me. I had to attend the meeting so I went right away. After I entered the meeting room, I said hello aloud but nobody answered which I thought was really rude from them. Then, I sat down next to my boss who looked really upset then I took out my laptop to take notes and paid attention to what they were discussing. After the meeting, which lasted a lot, everyone went out to have lunch. I usually bring lunch from home but that day I couldn´t cook or prepare a sandwich. Suddenly, it came to my mind one place where I ate the other day and liked the food. However, the place was six blocks far from the office and taking a bus wasn't a good idea so I went walking. When I arrived, the place was closed. In the end, I didn't have lunch because I had to get back to the office on time. The only good thing about yesterday was when I finished work. Don´t misinterpret. I love my job. Today for example, it's a wonderful day.

Explicación:

Past Simple: Had, woke, arrived, turned, found, said, went, entered, answered, sat, looked, took, paid, liked, closed, finished.

Sequence Connectors: First, After, Then, Suddenly, However, In the end.

Past Progressive: they were discussing, I went walking.
