Respuesta:

In cosmology , it is understood by Big bang or Great Explosion in Spanish (term coming from the astrophysicist Fred Hoyle as a mockery of the theory, originally called the Primeval Atom or Cosmic Egg by astrophysicist andpriest Georges LLemaître)at the beginning of the universe , that is, the initial point at which matter , space and time were formed . According to the standard cosmological model , the Big Bang took place about 13.8 billion years ago. The Standard Model does not try to explain the cause of this event itself, but rather the evolution of the early universe in a time range from Planck time (approx. 10 −43 seconds) after the Big Bang to between 300,000 and 400,000 years later, when stable atoms were beginning to form and the universe became transparent. A wide range of empirical evidence strongly favors the Big Bang , which is now essentially and universally accepted.

Explicación:

Ever since Georges Lemaître first observed in 1927 that a constantly expanding universe should go back in time to a single point of origin, scientists have built on his idea of cosmic expansion. Although the scientific community was once divided into supporters of two different theories about the expanding universe, the Big Bang theory , and the steady state theory , advocated by Fred Hoyle , the accumulation of observational evidence strongly favors the former, which it is now almost universally accepted.

In 1929 , from the redshift analysis of galaxies, Edwin Hubble concluded that galaxies were moving apart, which is important observational evidence consistent with the hypothesis of an expanding universe. In 1964 the cosmic microwave background radiation was discovered , which is also a crucial piece of evidence in favor of the Big Bang model , since this theory predicted the existence of the background radiation in the entire universe before it was discovered. More recently, measurements of the redshift of supernovae indicate that the expansion of the universe is accelerating., acceleration attributed to dark energy ( Lambda-CDM Model ).
