En mi opinión es difícil

Grammar yeah

In general terms, the grammar of English is much simpler than that of Spanish: verbal conjugations are infinitely less complex, nouns have no gender, the subjunctive is used very little ... Yes, everything has its difficulty, but the grammar of the English is not the most complicated thing in the world. By handling a few verb tenses well you are perfectly capable of communicating.

The pronunciation, not

Now pronunciation is another story. English, unlike Spanish, is not pronounced as it is written. With few exceptions, in Spanish each letter is always read in the same way. In English, however, no. In fact, as far as pronunciation is concerned, there are more exceptions than rules.

You have to accept it from the beginning. Every time you learn a word you will have to make a double effort: the effort to learn how to say it, on the one hand, and the effort to learn how to write it, on the other. It is worth noting that it is much more important to learn how words are pronounced, because we want to learn to "speak English" and not "read English", right? Well that.

It's also crucial to keep in mind, from scratch, that no native speaker speaks English like a robot. When speaking, we unite the sounds in a continuum and there are no spaces between words, as it happens in writing. This means that it is not only worth knowing how to pronounce individual words, you also have to learn how to pronounce complete structures, how the sounds are joined in each of them. In this way you will not only make your pronunciation sound more natural, but you will also qualitatively improve your listening comprehension.

The ease, either

Speaking fluently in English ... let's see, it's not that it's impossible. It can be achieved. The problem is that many people still have not understood that to have fluency in English you have to crush things many times. It is not enough to study something once and say "Bah, I know that." No. English doesn't work that way.

You have to work on the structures and vocabulary a thousand times until they come out without mistakes, without batting an eye. You have to train your brain and mouth for English, just like a gymnast prepares his body daily to compete. You don't have to go to the next level until you have mastered something 100%. And you should never stop going over the basics. Never. In learning English, those with small but firm steps advance faster than those who stride.
