PASADO SIMPLE: Person + verb in past tense. Cosas que sucedieron y han terminado.  

PASADO CONTINUO: Person + "be" in past tense + verb with -ing. Cosas que sucedieron pero están incompletas.

Tom:hola sofia ¿estabas comiendo pizza la noche pasada ?sofia: si tom no estaba tan mal ehh......tom:¿Comiste mucho aquella noche? sofia:Sí! Ví la televisión mientras estaba comiendo comida.
