Studies in Science, Technology and Society expand in the Latin American region. Within this framework, the compilation engages in a dialogue between disciplines to problematize emerging issues and reconstruct an overall vision. The book addresses methodological and epistemological proposals, theoretical discussions on innovation and inclusion, and regional case analyzes. In the first part, approaches such as actor-network theory intersect with research on digital platforms. The epistemological reflection extends on the notion of objectivity, from perspectives based on relational ontologies and partial connections. In the second part, traditional approaches to technology, innovation and their potential in terms of development and inclusion are critically discussed. The third part analyzes local cases on secondary and university education, linked to policies for the inclusion of technologies and the role of these institutions in the creation and dissemination of knowledge. Other experiences such as the development of free technologies, open access or the formation of virtual communities of practice are also revisited. This collective work is the product of the continuous work of different research teams based at the National University of Córdoba and the Villa María National University, Argentina.
