Pierre: Hi, sister. What are you doing?

Coral: Hi, Pierre. I am reading a book that I bought yesterday.

Pierre: What’s the name of the book?

Coral: New Fan by Joseph Alfaro

Pierre: Is he a Chilean writer?

Coral: No, he is from Argentina.

Pierre: What is it about?

Coral: It is about a young boy who wants to be famous but he ends up in jail.

Pierre: Oh, I see. Have you liked it so far?

Coral: I don’t know. It’s been a bit boring, but I’ve heard great comments about it.

Pierre: Look! I bought another book for your birthday.

Coral: Thank you, Pierre. You are the best brother in the world.

Pierre: I know! I have to get back to work; I’ll see you on Friday.

Diálogo con Phrasal Verbs en inglés:

Luis and Kate are buying a car, but they don’t decide which one is better for them. Kate starts to ask:

K: Do you like the red or blue one?

L: I don’t like those colors for a car. I prefer black.

K: Black is a death-color. I don’t like it. L: But it looks very neutral and professional, Kate.

K: But do you think that our kids would like a black one?

L: Of course, they are boys, they understand me. K: Okay!! Let’s see other models.

L: Come on, Kate! We have to hurry up. K: I see, I see. But why do we have to hurry up?

L: The kids are waiting for us at home.

K: Oh, that’s right! Choose the black one, I support you.

L: Thanks God you decided!
