Peter Benjamin Parker is a student at the Midtown School of Science and Technology who, after acquiring his skills from a radioactive spider bite, chose to fight crime as Spider-Man. Despite trying hard to keep his identity a secret from everyone, including his Aunt Maybelle, he was found and recruited by Anthony Stark to join the Avengers Civil War, obtaining a new suit and technology in return. After helping Stark, Parker kept his suit to continue operating as Spider-Man.
