Hi there, my name’s Diego. I’m with my family today because it’s Day of the Dead in Mexico and it is a very big celebration here. We has/have (do) a lot of things to get ready for the celebration. We have/has already (make) an altar in our house with flowers, candles and coloured paper and we have/has (buy) chocolates and sweets to put on it too.
My mum have/has just (finish) making the tamales we are going to eat. It’s a tradition to make tamales for The Day of the Dead and they are delicious! My dad has/have just (arrive) home with the flowers we are going to take to the cemetery and my sister and I have/has already (make) a wreath to take as well but we haven’t/hasn’t (go) to the shop to buy a drink to take with us yet.
