Respuesta: Consequences of First insects

Explicación: Current knowledge of insect evolution is based on studies in the following sciences: molecular biology, insect morphology, paleontology, insect taxonomy, evolution, embryology, bioinformatics, and computer science. Based on all these studies, it is estimated that the class Insecta originated approximately 480 million years ago, in the Ordovician, at the same time that terrestrial plants appeared.1 Insects evolved from a group of crustaceans.2 The Earliest insects lacked wings. The first flying insects appeared approximately 400 million years ago in the Devonian, being the first animals to acquire this ability.1 The oldest fossil that indisputably belongs to this group is Rhyniognatha hirsti found in Scotland whose age is estimated between 407 and 396 millions of years. Since then the climatic conditions have repeatedly changed, and with them the diversity of insects. The Pterygota (winged insects) suffered a significant evolutionary radiation during the Carboniferous (from 365 to 299 million years ago), while the Endopterygota (insects with complete metamorphosis) suffered another equally important during the Permian (from 299 to 252 million years ago.
