A continuación se muestran algunos ejemplos de pasado continuo, y se adjunta imagen indicando la figura que corresponden con cada oración, pero antes definamos cuando se usa pasado continuo.

¿Cuándo usar el pasado contínuo en ingles?

El pasado continuo se usa en oraciones que expresa dos acciones pasadas, una que ocurrió mientras la otra que estaba ocurriendo.

Su estructura grammatical se forma con el sujeto seguido del pasado del verbo to be (was / were) luego la acción que estaba ocurriendo (verbo terminado en ing), el “when”, y finalmente la acción pasada.
