. Complete the conversation, putting the verbs into the present simple.
A: Hello. Nice to see you. Do you work (work) here?
B: Yes, I do. I'm the head waiter.

El presente simple se usa para hablar de hábitos y hechos, su estructura es:

  • Sujeto + verbo + complemento.
  • Sujeto + don't / doesn't + verbo + complemento.
  • Do / does + sujeto + verbo + complemento + ?

Solo cambian su forma cuando el sujeto esta en tercera persona.

Tercera Persona

La tercera persona del singular en inglés son (he, she, it), para conjugar los verbos en inglés solo hay que agregar al final el sufijo "s".

En caso de que el verbo termine en una de las siguientes consonantes 's, x, h, o' y en algunas ocasiones 'y' se debe agregar el sufijo 'es'.
