to show you general guidelines about the things we should or shouldn’t do.
First of all, it is really important to be sure our house is not built in a place that has suffered floods or places near to
cliffs. Check the drain system of your neighborhood and make sure it is not covered with garbage. Do not throw
garbage on the street.
Always have an emergency plan with your family, each member has to know what to do if something happens. Identify
safe places at home, school or workplace. You should always have to have a backpack with basic food and an
emergency kit.
An emergency kit must have: common medicines, band aids, antiseptic alcohol, sticky tape, thermometer, among
others. It is important to have a radio, flashlight, and batteries. Bottled water, canned food, and some crackers are
recommended to be kept. Remember NOT to pay attention to rumors and listen to official news.
