El superlativo es como decir “lo máximo de algo”. En español: “Ella es la MÁS BONITA”; en inglés: “She is the PRETTIEST”.
Se le debe agregar “est” al adjetivo (smart - smartest, short -shortest, tall - tallest, etc), más esto sólo ocurre cuando el adjetivo es corto.
En caso de ser largo es most + adjetivo (beautiful - most beautiful, intelligent - most intelligent, interesting - most interesting, etc).
Si el adjetivo termina en una “y”, esta se reemplaza por una “i” (lovely - loveliest, ugly - ugliest, fruity - fruitiest, etc).
