A lucky escape! An Australian man had a lucky break when his plane crashed (CRASH) was in the middle of the desert. Jim Haris flew (FLIGHT) from Melbourme to Perth to visit his brother when one of the plane's engines failed (FAIL). After landing the plane safely, he realized that he would not survive long unless he found food and water, so he set (SET) looking for help. Six hours later, he found the river, but he slipped (SLIP) and fell (FALL) into the water. Although he was exhausted, he managed to swim to a safe place, but when he arrived (ARRIVED) on the river bank, a huge crocodile (APPEARS) appeared and chased him for almost half a mile. Eventually he hit a road and was picked up by a passing motorist as he walked (WALK).
