Develop prevention actions that help raise awareness that violence against women is a violation of human rights affecting society at large.

Taking into account the serious implications of gender-based violence for the country's development, Conavim has launched a systemic and cross-cutting response to address the roots of this problem, involving the participation of the three orders and levels of government, as well as the contributions of society and academia.

In this sense, one of the objectives of the unit is to develop prevention actions that contribute to raising awareness that violence against women is a violation of human rights affecting society at large.

To this end, Conavim designs and implements tools, messages, alliances and communication channels to spread the culture of non-violence, to understand the characteristics of the problem, and to disseminate the institutional services and programs that have been launched to combat and eradicate this phenomenon.

Some of the campaigns disseminated by Conavim are:

Campaign to broadcast Line 01 800 Talk about it.

Campaign to broadcast the Women's Justice Centres.

Campaign to Prevent Violence against Women, which sought to make visible the various manifestations of sexual violence.

"Not all men are equal" campaign, which aims to encourage a change of ideas about masculinity for non-violence and gender justice. This campaign was conducted in partnership with UN Women Mexico and is linked to the HeForShe campaign, which is a solidarity movement for gender equality that involves men and boys as advocates and participants in the cause.

"No Tags" campaign in co-reference with the Conapred, which seeks to contribute to the early detection of the types of violence between young people.

As part of the Orange Campaign promoted by the United Nations, Conavim disseminates messages every 25th of the month to the general public and segob's public servants to invite them to join international efforts to combat violence against women and girls.
