CINEMA


1.- Invent and write your own movie. It can be any genre you’d like (action, romance, horror, etc.). It must include a name, the characters you create, a dialogue and stage directions (the next day, at the cafeteria, she said happily, etc.) etc. It should also have a beginning, development, climax and an ending. 

     On the first page should be the title of the movie and below that the author (your full name). On the second page should be the list of characters with their own descriptions (who they are, how the look, behave and feel). And on the third page begins the dialogue of the movie. 

      The movie’s dialogue should be at least 3 pages. Font: Times New Roman 12. Titles size 14. (TOTAL 5 PAGES MINIMUM).

 

2.- Make a presentation of your favorite movie or favorite type of movie. Include the name of the movie, characters, plot, why it is your favorite, images if you can, etc.
You must include some of the next words: soundtrack, director, producer, script, stunt person, cast, sequel, role, special effects, performance, subtitles, dubbed, movie, plot.

      The presentation can be done on PowerPoint (minimum 6 slides), but if you can’t, you can do it written on a Goggle document or on your notebook (min 1 full page, font: Times New Roman 12. Titles size 14). If you do it like this, please try to include images or drawings about the movie.

1.- Create half a page-conversations of the next 5 phone call situations:


1-A:

You are calling your friend Jamie.

You want to invite him/her to a party this Friday.


1-B:

You answer the phone. The person on the other end of the line wants to speak to Jamie.

You don't know anyone named Jamie…


2-A:

Call your friend. Try to persuade him/her to go to New York with you.


2-B:

Your friend will call you. Try to persuade him/her to go with you to London.


3-A:

You are a boss. Call your employee and tell him/her to work this Saturday.


3-B:

You’re happy that it’s Friday and you're looking forward to spending the weekend with your family and friends. Your boss calls you…


4-A:

You’re self-employed and your business is in trouble.

Call your friend and ask to borrow some money.


4-B:

Your friend calls you. This is good because he/she owes you 1,000 dollars and you need the money back.


5-A:

You bought a computer from a local shop but it doesn’t work now. Call the shop and tell them.


5-B:

You are manager of a local computer shop. A customer calls you.

 

You can write them on your notebook or on a Google document. Half a page of each dialogue. Times New Roman 12.


VACATIONS

1.- Write your perfect winter (Christmas or any other religion) vacations, whether you’ve 
    had it or not.

2.- Write your perfect Easter vacations (semana santa), whether you’ve had it or not.

3.- Write your perfect summer vacations, whether you’ve had it or not.

4.- Times New Roman 12, titles 14 and bold. Minimum half a page for each writing.

 

DECISIONS

1.- Explain the best decision you’ve ever made. Would you change something about it? You do NOT have to share anything personal you don’t want to.
