Se escriben las siguientes oraciones en pasado simple en su forma negative o interrogative:

1. Anne played tennis yesterday. (negative)

   Anne didn't play tennis yesterday.

2. Your friends ate some hamburgers last night. (interrogative):

   Did your friends eat some hamburgers last night?

3. Alex and Chris were in Rio in October. (negative):

   Alex and Chris weren't in Rio in October.

¿Cómo se utiliza el auxiliar “Did”?

Cuando se formulan oraciones en pasado simple en forma negativa o interrogativa, se debe usar el verbo auxiliar “did” para todos los sujetos más el verbo principal sin modificaciones, con las siguientes estructuras:

  • Interrogativa

        Did + sujeto + verbo en forma base + complemento?

  • Negativa

        Sujeto + didn't + verbo en forma base + complemento.
