La voz pasiva se usa para darle énfasis a la acción realizada y no a la persona que la realiza.

Voz Pasiva.

Para formar las oraciones en voz pasiva se escribe primero el sujeto + verbo to be + verbo en pasado participio + complemento de la oración. Cuando sabemos quien realizo la acción se utiliza la preposición "by" y luego se coloca la persona que la realizo.

a.The homeowners will remodel the house to help it sell.

• The house will be remodeled by the owners to help it sell.

b. The saltwater corroded the metal beams.

• The metal beam were corroed by the saltwater.

c. They built this house in 1941.

• This house was built in 1941.
