Explicación:
Avril Lavigne comes from a middle-class Christian family. She is the daughter of John and Judy Lavigne, both of French-Canadian origin, she was born on September 27, 1984 in Belleville, Ontario, but a few months later they moved to Napanee, also in Ontario. She sang gospel and country songs. A few years later, Avril devoted herself to singing at fairs. When she grew up, she taught herself to play the guitar.
In 1998, at the age of thirteen, she won a singing contest sponsored by a local radio station, earning the opportunity to share the stage with singer Shania Twain. Avril performed for the first time in front of an audience of approximately 20,000 people. Shortly thereafter she hired her first manager, Cliff Fabri, who noticed her talent when she was fourteen years old and performing at a bookstore in Canada.
