Ayudaaaaaaa necesito que me digan what is the relation of Halloween and Ireland’s great famine ?miren yo ya puse esto - Halloween became much more popular with the increase of Irish immigrants that came to the United States curing the potato famine of the 1840s. Americans began dressing in costumes and going house to house to ask for food, which evolved into the modern trick- or- treat tradition, Ireland has been celebrating Halloween for more than a thousand years, dating back to the time when it was the pagan festival of Samhain. Back then it was believed that evil spirits visited the mortal world on Halloween. To ward them off, people lit bonfires and wore bizarre costumes.
Pero me falta otro párrafo pero no tiene que ser tan largo puede ser corto. Y gracias si me contestan

esto "One theory holds that many Halloween traditions may have been influenced by ancient Celtic harvest festivals, particularly the Gaelic festival Samhain, with roots some scholars argue may be the result of syncretism caused by the Christianization of Samhain as All Souls' Day. Saints, along with its eve, by the early Church. Other scholars believe, however, that Halloween began solely as a Christian holiday, being the eve of All Saints' Day.
