Para que las frases tengan sentido, hay que añadirle verbo be (sólo en algunas ocasiones) + the + adjetivo superlativo.

Explicación:

Los adjetivos superlativos en inglés tiene las siguientes reglas:

-Si el adjetivo en positivo tiene hasta dos sílabas, termina en -e o en -y, se la añade -est al final. Ejemplos: Strongest, happiest, largest...

-Si el adjetivo tiene más de dos sílabas, se queda en positivo y le añadimos el the most delante: The most beautiful, The most intelligent...

-Si el adjetivo es irregular, cambiamos totalmente la palabra: Good - BEST,

Bad - WORST,   Little - LEAST.
