Explicación: "was" es para referirse a algo o a alguien EN SINGULAR, ejemplos: I (yo), She (ella), He (él), It (éso). Por otra parte, "were" es para referirse a algo o a alguien EN PLURAL, ejemplo: They (ellos o ellas). Y ya, espero haberte ayudado un poco en ese ejercicio :)
