Lucy: Hi Diana! I came to walk my dog around.
D: Nice, it's so cute. What's its name?
L: He's Jack. I've had him since he was a small puppy.
D: Aw, that's so cool! By the way, have you seen the news? Apparently lots of people have been stung by an invasive bee species.
L: Really? I've watched them, but I didn't hear that.
D: People have been saying they're very dangerous.
L: Guess we'll have to watch out. I've never been stung by a bee before.
D: I have, it didn't hurt a lot but I can't imagine how much that bite would hurt! I mean, I heard the bee is huge!
L: I hope we don't find any!
D: Me too. Oh, I just remembered; did you go to Kyle's party last weekend?
L: Yes, I did, but it was kind of boring.
D: Was it? I've been told it was very cool and many people went.
L: Yes, that's true. There were lots of people, but nobody did or talked about anything interesting.
D: Wow, I wanted to go so bad, but now it doesn't look as cool.
L: It really wasn't, I haven't gone to many parties but if that's what they all look like then I think staying at home is better.
D: I guess so. I don't enjoy parties that much either, but I thought Kyle was different. Speaking of, we might have to be on lockdown and stay at home for a few months!
L: Yeah, I've read about it. A new virus is spreading apparently. I hope it doesn't go too far.
D: Same. I can't imagine not going out of home for even more than a day!
L: Oh wait, sorry to interrupt you but I think someone's calling me.
D: It's ok. See you next week at school!
L: Sure, goodbye!
