After school , my friends and I used to go to the big supermarket next to the post office. For ten cents we got five big bars of chocolate and ate it all.

There was so much new tecnology - there were new machines in the kitchen and the garden , and new styles of cars. Of course, we didn't have cellphones, laptops or tablets! Life was nice and slow.

When I think of the 1960s, I think of family. We always did things together. We were a  big family with three of us boys and five girls. On weekedns, we played soccer or other games, and we often went for walks. Sometimes we went to the theater downtown and saw a play. the important thing was that we were together .
