El pasado perfecto consta de la siguiente estructura:
Sujeto + had + verbo en participio + complemento
Recuerda que had es el pasado de "have" y además de significar tener, significa haber. Entonces, had significa había. Y el participio de un verbo en inglés se forma con la terminación -ed (verbos regulares) y el de los verbos irregulares los debemos aprender. En español un verbo en participio termina con -ado o -ido (mayormente).
