pero para facilitarlo lo abrebiamos así: n't yo se lo agregamos a la palabra: isn't, aren't, aunque el AM no se abrebia entonces queda: am not

El verb to be negative es la forma negativa del verbo to be, como lo expresa su nombre, el verb to be tiene 8 pronombres los cuales son: I you, he, she, it, we, you, they.
Para pasarlo al negativo simplemente se le agrega "not" a todos los pronombres.
La forma larga:
I am not, you are not, he is not, she is not, It is not, We are not, You are not, They are not ("are" porque estamos hablando en plural, "is" en singular).
La forma corta:
I'm not, You aren't, he isn't, she isn't, It isn't, We aren't, You aren't, They aren't.
