Resumen : La presente investigación analiza la posición del gobierno de Rafael Correa frente a las políticas Neoliberales. Se examina de manera objetiva y sistemática todos aquellos acontecimientos que son claves para la comprensión de este gobierno que duró diez años, así como el contenido del discurso del presidente y el papel que jugaron los movimientos sociales durante la década del correísmo, conjuntamente con una descripción exhaustiva de las políticas neoliberales aplicadas en el Ecuador durante este gobierno y las consecuencias que ha traído a nivel social, económico y educativo al país. El propósito de esta investigación es invitar a la reflexión a los lectores, al desarrollo de un pensamiento crítico frente a los acontecimientos que se vivieron en el país, permitiendo así tener una visión holística la realidad social, política, económica de la actualidad. Está investigación se caracteriza por ser de tipo bibliográfica donde se recopiló información de textos, revistas, documentos digitales y materiales audiovisuales, además de ser una investigación descriptiva y campo debito a que se empleó la técnica de la entrevista, los resultados arrojados son de tipo cualitativo y permitieron extraer conclusiones y recomendaciones que responden a los objetivos de la investigación

This research analyzes the position of Rafael Correa's government regarding Neoliberal policies. All those events that are key to understanding this ten-year government as well as the content of the president's speech and the role played by social movements during the decade of Correísmo, are examined objectively and systematically together with an exhaustive description of the neoliberal policies applied in Ecuador during this government and the consequences that it has brought to the social, economic and educational level to the country. The purpose of this research is to invite readers to reflect, to develop critical thinking about the events that took place in the country, thus allowing them to have a holistic view of today's social, political and economic reality. This research is characterized by being a bibliographic type in which information was collected from texts, magazines, digital documents and audiovisual materials. It is also a descriptive and field research due to the fact that the interview technique was used. The results obtained are qualitative and allowed to draw conclusions and recommendations that respond to the objectives of the research
