Explicación:

Los verbos regulares al pasarlos a pasado solo se les agrega la terminación "ED" , si terminan en "Y" se cambia por "I"

Ejemplo:

presente simple: worry

pasado simple: worried

Sin embargo también hay verbos no regulares que cambian toda su estructura por ejemplo

Presente simple: Buy

Pasado simple: Bought

pero cuando en la misma oración se usa el auxiliar que en el caso del pasado simple es "Did" como este ya representa que está en pasado, ya no es necesario que se conjugue con la terminación "ED"
